The foundation of civilized society are based on law. From the time immemorial human beings are struggling to build an equilateral society based on the idea of social justice. The ideal of social justice requires a strong legal system to govern the society, With growth in the intelligent level of mankind, laws to govern society become more and complicated, and this created need of trained professionals and ultimately law became the profession of the intellectuals and learned. In order to fulfill the demands of society centers of learning started imparting professional training to the future aspirants of this premier profession.

Law is not only a profession but is in fact the only mean for the down trodden members of society in their fight against injustice and oppression, and a strong bulwark for the women empowerment.

The foundation of Mahmoodabad Law College was founded on the 22nd day of February, 2003, 20th Zilhij 1424 Hijri, The college is managed by shaheed Abdul Hameed Educational Society, an educational society registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860 and has earned a very prestigious reputation due to its various service to the nation with the efforts of Dr. Haroon Rizvi, Dr. Rana Khan Mohib and Arshi Rizvi and every year the college is adding laurels to its account.

This is the first law college of the area. Until the college was not set up students used to travel to the city of Lucknow to pursue this honourable course. But within a short span of time the situation has reversed and now college is attracting not only students of Lucicnow but seekers of knowledge travel . from far of places to study here. Well equipped with all modern facilities the college is serving the need of society well. All important reference books are available in the library, the computer facility with access to internet is very helpful to students.

With increase in the number of students, the college has coped well in providing all necessary facilitiesyo its students.With the ideal that education is a birth right of every human being the college is serving members of all sections of society without any discrimination on the basis of color, religion or caste, but in particular women and weaker sections are more encouraged. In a short span of time the college has earned reputation as a great center of learning, attracting students from far off areas.
